RhinoLINUX is a family of operating systems, based on the Linux kernel. The system will have different editions based on different upstream components/base distributions but the main edition will be based on Ubuntu/Linux Mint components, themselves Debian-derived.

Versions 1 and 2 were developed in 2010 and 2011 but not made publicly available, The first beta of RhinoLINUX THREE, "Oneiric ANJI" will be available from end January 2012.

The RhinoLINUX systems are all intended to be desktop user systems with a complete set of user productivity,multimedia and Internet applications as well as system tools and utilities which should suit the vast majority of users from beginners to advanced, out of the box without the need to download or add anything. The Ubuntu-compatible releases will have access to more than 30000 applications in the relevant Ubuntu libraries, easily installable from the desktop.
