Debian Live 20061002

" The Debian Live project aims to create Debian Live CDs, DVDs, USB-stick and netboot images for the Etch release (and newer).

A Debian Live system is a Debian operating system preinstalled in some way, that does not require a classical installer to be used. It comes on media, like a cdrom, a usb-stick, or over a network. [...]

Although you can easily build and customize your own Debian Live images on your own with live-package, we offer prebuilt images for download [...]

Currently, there are the following flavours of Debian Live:

debian-live-${DIST}-${ARCH}-standard.iso

This image contains only packages of the standard system
(Priority: standard).

* debian-live-${DIST}-${ARCH}-gnome.iso

This image contains the standard system and the complete GNOME and X11
(gnome gdm x-window-system-core).

* debian-live-${DIST}-${ARCH}-kde.iso

This image contains the standard system and the complete KDE and X11
(kde koffice kde-extras kdm x-window-system-core).

* debian-live-${DIST}-${ARCH}-xfce.iso
