larch is a kit for building a live CD based on Archlinux.
Package selection is fully configurable, and a simple hard disk installer is also provided, the result being a completely standard and up-to-date Archlinux system. It should be possible to run the build scripts on most up-to-date Linux systems, so you don't already need an Arch system to build the CD.
Extensive documentation is provided.

cool
do you have any generated iso's for download to try?
iso
At the moment I don't have any plans to provide sample isos for downloading. The emphasis is really on customisation, you make the iso to suit your needs. It's pretty quick and easy, and has the advantage that you can 'reuse' the downloaded packages, so in the long run it should save a lot of time and bandwidth.

okay thanks
sounds smart to stay focused on providing customizability and let others provide iso files that suit different needs.
website
Sorry about this, but it wasn't a great success with fsphost.com.

I've added a copy-to-ram option, for those with lots of ram, also various minor fixes.
